Getting Nostalgic

I JUST CAN`T GET THIS SONG OF MY MIND

If i said you has a beautiful body would you hold it against me?

If i swore you were an angel would you treat me like the devil tonight ?

If i were dying of thirst would your flowing love come quench me ?

If i said if you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me ?

Now we can talk all night about the weather

Tell you `bout my freinds out on the coast

I could ask a lot of crazy questions

Or i could ask what i really want to know

Now rain can fall so soft against the window

The sun can shine so bright up in the sky

But daddy always told me "Dont make small talk"

He said " Come on out and say what`s on your mind"

If i said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me ?

If i swore you were an angel would you treat me like a devil tonight?

If i were dying of thirst would your flowing love come quench me ?

If i said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me .....

Down the Memory Lane

Met Ol` freinds & Khyani Bakery @ Dhobitalao, Malhar time is in so need to arrange passes so we can get in the college fest, last time i entered as a journo he he he , god still did`nt give up tryin to get passes @ Malhar and the meet started niceties with usual gallis and passes in place, the conversation moved on to our old days and lo we went down the Down the memory lane .... Good old days those were .

Time when Fair and Fete during some church feast was an in thing and attending every rock show may it be I-ROCK or any college rock festival was necessary and getting invited by local freinds were more happening as we would get free food as guest , literally attending any fete all through bombay may it be at Bosco`s at Matunga or feast @ IC borivalli or at John the Baptist @ thane was a way of life for us , we the bunch of motley crew of Music and Dance freak were always there in full force giving our attendanc may it be rain or hot summer evening.

Where live band played till early morn for there used to be 3 to 4 bands playing back to back , dishing songs from Dire Striats to Eric clapton, madonna to prince from pussycat to engelbert from country music to dance number...and ending up with Goan Masala , with live band playing things were really happening , NO GOING TO DISC man our own open shows .... Aaahhhhhhh. dance floors were open to anyone who wanted to shake thier leg or 2 or 3 or 4........

See most of these fete were free initially and the additional tit bits that is did`nt pinch our pocket as the beer, whisky , rum and vodka were also pretty cheap , mixing with the thumps up or any soft drink available , as officially taking booze in the fair were prohibited and the parish priest was always on a lookout for culprit ... :-) , but over the period of time we learnt the art of smuggling lot of stuff to these show`s that were part of our upbringing.

Nostalgic that we were ,i got into the mood as usual this time without any alcohol in the system and started whisling the GOOD OL` number that i still can't off my mind as i`m writing this blog ....

We literally ended up singing the song and the uncle the counter hushing us all the time....

well i wont end the story hear cause the after math late night session turned out to be even more happening when we landed our self at Mondy`s (Cafe Mondegar) and carried our singing session at full gusto with foreinger`s joinin in too.... well this how we were and this is how we are , of lately we seldom meet , but when we do , we believe in brining the roof down , we rock guyz........

mon sauveur

Paint a smile on my face

Try to hide the pain

The smile never meets my eyes

My heart is full of shame

Paint a smile on my face

Try to forget the lies

The smile never meets my eyes

My heart is filled with pain

Paint a smile on my face

Try to forget that i`m alone

The smile never meets my eyes

My heart begins to break

Paint a smile on my face

as I try to find a freind

look me down as flirt

My heart despair , for the remarks hurts

I feel a tender touch upon

The smile i painted on

She wipes the smile off my face
Tells my heart to not be fake

She replaces the paint with a smile so true

I know i can`t be alone for sure

She takes the pain out of heart

And fills me up again

Tourmente`

Tears streaming down her cheek ,

As she sat lonely down by the creek ,

Heart broken , Words unspoken....

Fate took away the joy that one can`t fathom...

Madness she held onto, Feared she remained .

Chances she took to reach to the sky , but to no avail.

For surreptiously life pushed you down

As you see no reason to be around.

Happiness bountiful,

for a guardian angel has been put thru.

Take my hand for I will to guide u around.

From the madness that drive`s u to the ground..

Hold me , trust me ,

loneliness we will crush you`ll see

let`s together pave way thru the desert of pain .

Being alone there`s nothing you will gain .

- Endnote:

I wish you could look at me and see the person you once loved instead of the person you have grown to hate...

l'amour et la solitude

Childhood - Innocense

Freedom - Wild

Freinds - Happiness

Youth - explore

Respect - Command

Maturity - Responsibility

Love - Enigma

Lover - Support

Tear - Sad

Hate - Remorseful

Jealousy - Failure

Fatique - hopelessness

Loneliness- Fear

Twilight - Hope

Hope - Success...

Love - Blissful..

When you try your best and you dont succeed

When you get what you want but not what you need.

When you feel so tired but you can`t sleep

Stuck in reverse

When tears come streaming down your face

When you lose something you can`t replace

When you love someone but it goes to waste

Could it be worse?

High above or down below

When you`re too in love to let it go

If you never try you`ll never know

Just what you`re worth

Lights will guide you home

And ignite your bones

And i will try to FIX YOU
